Anticipiamo qui la lettera aperta  scritta da Francesco Dal Co e indirizzata al Ministro italiano dell’Università, signora Mariastella Gelmini che comparirà nel numero 774 di febbraio 2009 di «Casabella».

Gentile Ministro Mariastella Gelmini,

poiché «Casabella» è un mensile, potrebbe accadere che alcune considerazioni che vorrei sottoporre alla Sua attenzione debbano venire riformulate tra non molto alla luce degli esiti dei provvedimenti presi nel lasso di tempo che intercorrerà tra la stesura di queste righe e la pubblicazione della rivista. Ritengo però che parte delle questioni di cui Le dirò non possa venire risolta in tempi brevi e dalle decisioni assunte dal Governo all’inizio del mese di gennaio 2009. Read the rest of this entry »

La seconda luna, il primo premio nazionale dedicato alle passioni individuali, si rivolge a singoli e gruppi da tutta Italia e premia la bizzarria, la fantasia, la cura di cose scomparse o di quelle a venire, i tentativi a vuoto, l’azzardo, l’attenzione e lo scrupolo. Creatività allo stato puro che, toccando in modo trasversale tutte le discipline, dà voce alla passione nelle sue più svariate applicazioni.

La commissione di esperti valuterà gli elaborati che perverranno entro il 20 marzo 2009. L’iscrizione al Premio è gratuita e ai vincitori andrà un significativo premio in denaro: 15.000 euro al primo classificato, 7.000 euro al secondo e 3.000 al terzo, per un totale di 25.000 euro.

As planned, here-in-after The CM-int’08 (POLIMI Course of Interiors 2008 by Gennaro Postiglione) presents a sequence of possible visions about the future of Vienna Flak Towers (bunkers from WWII): a selection of these shots will be shown in the exhibition “I templi incompiuti di Hitler” (download info), Spazio Guicciardini (18 FEB-13 MAR), Milano, promoted by the Provincia di Milano and the Austrian Culture Institute in Milan (curators: Edoardo Conte and Flavia Foradini).

The curators asked for our collaboration/participation at their exhibition with a work on Vienna Flak Towers and we decided to assign to CM-int’08 students – in continuity with previous exercises – the task to edit some “UN-useful” visions.

Following, a sequence arranged from the best to the worst according students self-evaluation.

The book-lets will be the shown in the exam one-day exhibition the 090223 Room U1 (setting up until 10:00): marks will be delivered the evening at 17:00.
